1850 Stools These red oak stools are derived from the proportions and joinery of several Chinese/Japanese stools from the 19th century. The joinery used in these historic stools is creative and very robust- through tenons require no glue and the center star brace relies on the tensile strength of wood for a clean and effective construction. These stools should easily last hundreds of years if kept out of the weather.
